Women’s Disciple-Making Ministries

Are you Interested in having someone walk with you as you grow and mature in your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? Are there times you think “it would be great to have someone to talk these things through”? Do you want someone to help you in developing a Biblical worldview in your decision making? Calvary’s Disciple-Making Ministry is deigned to do just that. As you walk through life, let someone say, “I’ll Walk With You!” The Lord never intended for us to walk alone. He is ALWAYS with us, and our brothers and sisters desire to be there for us as well. Fill out the application to be discipled and someone from our Women’s Disciple-Making Ministry will get back to you. Blessings!

1 Peter Bible Study Book: A Living Hope in Christ

Book: 1 Peter Bible Study Book: A Living Hope in Christ
By:
Jen Wilkin

We will be studying verse by verse through the book of 1 Peter as it focuses on believers bearing up under suffering yet continuing to live well. Peter, a man of faith and flaws and an eyewitness to the life of Christ, challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance.  In 1 Peter, he shares concerns about the big picture issues for the early believers, reminding them of the living hope they have in Christ. Peter describes our true identity as believers and points us to humility and submission. We will be growing in our higher view of God as we dig deep into His Word in the book of 1 Peter.

Adorned-Living out the Gospel Together

Book: Adorned-Living out the Gospel Together
By: Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth

Come join this refreshing study and take your relationships to new depths, so that your life might find its fullest meaning as you adorn the Gospel of Christ. Woman to woman, older to younger, day to day, life to life. This is God's beautiful plan. The Titus 2 model of older women living out the gospel alongside younger women is vital for us all to thrive. It is mutually strengthening, glorifies God, and makes His truth believable to our world. This is Christian community as God designed it through Titus 2 and its powerful vision for women.

 Tuesday Morning Children’s Program

Once again this year, we are offering a more structured curriculum for our littlest Bible students. We are going to age appropriately dig deep into God's Word as we reinforce Biblical truths from real-life accounts and examples from the Bible. We are going to learn from His Word what it means to live for Christ.

Our mornings will consist of a lesson, craft, snack, music and free play time. Our program is offered to children ranging in age from infants through 5 years of age. At this time, our ability to accommodate homeschool children older than 5 is dependent on the number of volunteers we have available. We are very excited for the fun ways we will learn and grow in Christ, all while making new friends.

This Children's Program is limited to the children of Women participating in the Tuesday Morning Bible Studies. You must be registered for a study or helping with the children to register. Each child must be registered individually, thank you for taking time to ensure the kids are enrolled properly.

Ruth and Esther

Book: Ruth and Esther
By: Kathleen B. Nielson

Based on the biblical account of Ruth and Esther, the aim of this study is to know God's character more deeply as He reveals His providence and sovereignty in the lives of those experiencing hardship.  Both Ruth and Esther show us an example of trusting God's plan and His steadfast love for His people. God's ultimate plan for His people is seen as He works in the lives of these two women; one a foreigner and one a Jew in exile.

Read the book of Ruth prior to the first session as we will look at an overview of the book.

Teacher: Barb Schippers
Cost: $11
